Exorcism through art...... I am a mixed media artist living in the Bay Area. For me, painting is a release of inner demons, a transfer of negative energy. I make art because I have to.

Intuition generally dictates my painting process, giving rise to an unconscious projection of emotion to canvas. I don't limit myself in terms of mediums or their application to surface. House paint, watercolor, acrylic, gold leaf, spray paint, and blood are some of the instruments in my destruction-function.

I prefer to work on weathered decaying wood, but I will paint upon any surface available to me. Frequently, there is no order or plan with my non-representational work. I rely on motion, energy, and textural chaos to convey my message. I believe without the threat of failure or destruction, nothing can be gained from the journey. Instinct controls my hands.
